This is what I'm working on right now..

A classical piano piece, all in vocals by me.

(I'm recording it in the gorgeous studio in the pic above)

I had this exact piano piece ringing in my head through the entire labor of my now three-year-old daughter.

And it's been my slight obsession ever since..

To rewrite it to a vocal arrangement.

And to record it.

Sing it.

It's by far the most challenging piece I've worked on musically.

Over six minutes long.. it takes you through a rollercoaster of wordless hymns, moving through UUUUUUUUUUUPS and.. (silence).. DOOOOOOOOOOOWNS.

Sometimes smooth as silk moving in water...

And sometimes crystal sharp.. like a swordsman's most precious blade moving through the air.

Yes.. Silk, blades.. And a gong - hit by a woman who's reached the end of her patience – That's how I choose to describe this music, or whatever it is :D

There'll be no instruments on this track..

It'll only be my voice.

This is NOT another pop song.

It's NOT something you're used to hearing, like, anywhere else.
